Luminary Analytics operates SnowLedger, a service for business Snowflake reporting. This notice explains how information is handled when you use the service.

Information we process

We process your name, email address, password hash or linked sign-in identifiers, organization memberships, and settings. For connections you authorize, we store encrypted Snowflake credentials and synchronize reporting data. Depending on the source views, this can include account and warehouse identifiers, costs, query text and performance, users, roles, and login activity.

We also process saved reports, AI conversations, support messages, subscription references, payment status, usage counters, and operational logs. Do not submit credentials or information you are not authorized to share in chat or support messages.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, enforce organization access, synchronize and display reports, provide requested AI features, administer subscriptions, deliver service messages, respond to support requests, and operate and protect the service. Organization administrators manage access within their organizations. Authorized support administrators can inspect organization information when providing support or administering the service.

Providers and processing locations

SnowLedger uses AWS hosting and backups in the United States. Stripe processes payments in hosted checkout and customer portal pages; SnowLedger stores billing references and status rather than card numbers. If you choose Google or Microsoft sign-in, that provider processes the authentication request. Email delivery providers process message content and recipient addresses. Selected frontend libraries are served by external content delivery networks, which receive browser requests.

We share information with providers as needed to operate the requested service, and when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service and its users. A business transfer may also involve service records, subject to applicable protections. International use can involve processing outside your country.

AI features

When you request AI chat or report generation, relevant prompts and report context are sent through OpenRouter to the selected model provider. The launch model is Anthropic's Claude Haiku 4.5. Context can include usage, query, user, and security information relevant to your question. We request routing that excludes providers marked as collecting customer data; this does not promise zero retention across every service or override applicable provider agreements.

SnowLedger stores conversations and reports you create, along with usage needed to enforce allowances. Review AI output before relying on it. You can use ordinary reports without requesting AI generation.

Cookies and storage

Session cookies and server-side session storage support sign-in, organization context, and request protection. Disabling these cookies can prevent the application from working. Third-party sign-in and payment pages have their own privacy notices and cookie practices.

Retention and your choices

Cached reporting history is subject to plan retention limits. We retain other account, conversation, support, billing, and security records as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, handle disputes, and protect the service. These records do not all share the reporting-history retention period. Backup copies can remain until their scheduled expiry after information is removed from the active service.

You can manage supported profile and conversation settings in the app. Contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of other information. We may need to verify your identity and your authority over organization data, and some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate operational reasons. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. Canceling a subscription does not itself delete an account or all retained records. Deleting a conversation does not reset the monthly usage counter.

Security and changes

We use HTTPS, tenant access controls, and encryption for stored connection credentials. No service can guarantee absolute security. SnowLedger is intended for business use, not for children. We update this notice when our practices change and provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate or required.
